The principle of thermal power generation is that coal, petroleum, natural gas and other fuels are burned in boilers to heat water, generating steam. In fact, the chemical energy of fuel is changed into heat energy. There are four steps to realize this process. Firstly, the water is heated to generate steam. Then, the steam drives the turbine to rotate which drives the generator to rotate further. In a word, the thermal energy is changed into mechanical energy and then the mechanical energy is changed into electrical energy.
The application of the process analyzing system in thermal power generation is introduced briefly by taking examples of component analysis of protective gas in pulverized coal bunker
The gas analyzer is mainly used for safety control. There are a large number of flammable pulverized coal particles in the coal bunker. If the oxygen content in inert protective gas exceeds 8%, it may lead to safety accidents.
